Where does ego and personal boundary fall within trying to serve someone.

I don’t know exactly

But I know that in general and in any act of service the ego needs to expand and disappear.

You need to start caring deeply about the person in front, as if it was you yourself, and then forget you or who you are.

That’s the only time you can truly serve the person in front of you.

I guess the balance is that when in the opportunity to do that, you should think intently, and then rise to the occasion to serve one another, yet in times you don’t think it’s wise, you shouldn’t move out of the moment

Being aware and present in the moment is all you need, being alive is all you need

that’s all the service anyone needs from you anyways, for you to really be ‘there’ for them.

does this make sense?

About personal boundaries - just don’t be a bitch, not to yourself, not to anyone else.
