Building a great community is like yelling “I love ketchup on my Maggi” on national television.

You won’t get a million people coming to you. Most of them maybe will never want to be associated with you.

But the few that you attract - they’ll be awesome, they’ll be the people you really want - they’ll be your superfans!

And for a community, frankly - that’s all you need.

You don’t need 1000 people who kinda love you and your beliefs - and sometimes show up.

You just need 10 motherfuckers who live their life by the same principles that you live yours (or the community is based out of)

Because these 10 folks are enough to generate so much noise, that if you’re chosen a decentish market - you’ll find your tribe, and have enough to grow.

These 10 folks will gel together with each other like no one else would, and that’s what you need for their cummalative effects to be bigger than the individual sums, which would drive the community forward.

So when starting out, start niche, be specific, be careful in who you choose to be the first 10 members.

Keep a very tight filter, the filter is the most important part of the community, especially when starting out!
